The only notable change is swapping teams in their second year playing in the King Of The Bluegrass Bowl. Last year they had Waggener, and this year they change to play host team Fairdale. The Trojans were 10-0 in the regular season last year, and finished at 13-1 with a loss in the semifinals to Trinity.

 

What is North Hardin looking like in regard to repeating what they did last year? Is there any shot at the state finals this year?

Coach Thompson isn't messing around in 2020.

North will be really good again this season but after losing that line I expect to see them back to earth a little bit this year. That was the best defensive line I've seen in person in years last year. And we played Desales who had all 4 defensive lineman get scholarships to play college football last year.

They're loaded. At least 5 players being looked at D1. A couple of them work out over here in Bardstown.

I'm looking forward to seeing them on Sept. 11 @ Frederick Douglass. I hope it gets played.

Yeah I've coached Lavell and coached against North the last 4 years. They havea lot of talent. I just think that a good defensive line changes EVERYTHING. And they weren't good last year, they were great. 

They better still have a lot of talent with that schedule.

I could be totally wrong but I think Frederick Douglass wins that game comfortably.
