Looks like Blanche Ely has had recent success in the Florida post season:

They didn't look good in the game. But one of the announcers said that Blanche Ely's coach was basically starting the team over with only one returning starter. They were really quick, but they were also really messy, their shooting was BAD, and Cov Cath probably out-rebounded them 3 to 1.

 

Tomorrow's game against Florida High should be significantly more challenging. And then Windsor (CT) is on the opposite side of the bracket. They're one of the top teams in Connecticut.

Florida High is coached by Heisman trophy winner and 11(ish) year NBA vet, Charlie Ward.

 

Pretty cool that a man of his stature is coaching high school.
