That's surprising. I guess he's moving on. What about Dallas Cowboys? Arkansas? FSU? He was at Boise State before Washington. Would think his recruiting ties are in Pacific Northwest and California.

This feels like he knows he has another gig. Can't imagine him resigning without another gig.

I would think the NFL would be the more likely option than another college job.

ESPN says he will assume an "advisory role" with Washington.

Sounds like he’s retiring. Which, honestly, I can’t believe most high level college coaches last as long as they do.
