If all the favorites win, it will be Mayfield hosting their old friends from the north, Beechwood and Somerset hosting Breathitt in the semis.

I’d say all these games will have 3+ touchdown margins.

Not really an exciting slate of games next week IMO. That's why this district play format for rounds 1 & 2 is awful, but that's already been litigated here over the past week.

Under the old system week two would have been boring. There aren't going to be all great games each week under any system.

Somerset a heavy senior team from what I hear. I think it’s them vs Mayfield at Lexington.

I wouldn't be so fast on Breathitt. They'll probably win in a close one, but Walton Verona is way better then any team they've played. Even they're loses like 10-7 against NCC shows they can play. This is my upset pick for Friday. Just hope someone informs Breathitt that the bakery is closed, and they've ran out of cupcakes. I want to see Somerset vs. Breathitt.
