November 12, 20196 yr Didn't they sign him to an extension earlier this season? How much money are the eating on that contract. This organization is so sad. Yes sir. 3 years $21 million
November 13, 20196 yr Author What a joke of a franchise. Decision making the last 3-4 years has just been horrendous!

I doubt they are eating to much on the contract. The Bengals rarely if ever cut someone if it would mean they would be paying a lot of money to do so.
November 13, 20196 yr Saw a stat on Preston Brown...he's been targeted in coverage 21 times this year. 20 of those passes have been completed for 213 yards and 2 TD's, for a passer rating of 141 when he's targeted in coverage. :scared:

November 13, 20196 yr Read somewhere today it was around $6 million they’ll be eating. Yeah I just read that too. That is pretty surprising for the Bengals to do. Maybe Zac Taylor is started to be given a little bit more freedom to do things than we realize. There is no way that Mike Brown would want to pay a guy that much not to play. That must have been something Taylor wanted done. I know a lot of people freaked out by them not making trades too at the deadline. Which I am one of those that wish they did. However, I do think they will make some trade this off season. Which when they make the trade, they will know exactly what pick they are getting in return this time.

Accumulating a lot of 5th or 6th round draft choices isn't going to make a lot of impact, IMO. And to get higher picks, who do we have that's worth them? :lol2:

There was a good article today on the athletic. That if the Bengals trade or release guys like Dalton, Dunlap, Dre, that they will have well over 100 million in cap space. That is even if they keep Geno and sign Green. So I see them trading for picks, and possibly being more active in free agency for once. If Taylor was able to get Mike Brown to swallow 6 million on a guy who is not on the team anymore. I think he may be able to get them to be more active in free agency. Now don't expect stars. Hopefully though guys that can help on the line, and at linebacker. Then have to hope they don't suck at the draft lol.

HOW did he lead the NFL in tackles 2 straight years?????
November 14, 20196 yr These stats are just MIND BLOWING!! HOW did he lead the NFL in tackles 2 straight years????? That is where I think tackle stats could be misleading. I don't know if this was the case, but he may have led the league in tackles. However, it doesn't mean he was really productive if most of those tackles came after the other team already gained 5 yards or more.

Yes, the last 2 years before he came to our Bengs he led the NFL in tackles, saw it on sportscenter, hard to believe!!
