North Hardin 7 Central Hardin 0

Featured Replies

Final per the update thread.

Now that I am in a dry environment, North Hardin defense played lights out tonight. Central Hardin defense shut North Hardin offense down in the second half and 2 big plays by Gavin George resulted in holding penalties that negated a TD and the ball on the 2 yard line and Trejean Sanders catch and fumble and recovery by North at the North 2 yard line in the 4th quarter were huge. Central defense held and got the ball back for the offense with 2:00 left in the 4th but fumbled on the next play to seal the deal for North Hardin.

Chase Elmore was off tonight, partly because of the pressure by North Hardin and Deonco Wilkerson was ineffective due to a lingering ankle injury. With a looming rematch in the second round of the playoffs, this game should be another close game that will be determined by execution and limiting penalties and turnovers.

While the Central Hardin offense struggled tonight, the defense really played well. North Hardin RB Lavell Wright runs hard and had a strong night. Central Hardin really limited the North receivers from having a big night though.

Should be a great rematch.

I guess we know why North was correctly rated higher all year.

Now, now, HCP has been a good sport and fan for his school for many weeks now. It’s all good.

Sounds like a crazy game.
