Mystery Object Strikes Mercer County Home

Featured Replies

The object struck a mobile home two weeks and lodged in the wall, shattering the shower enclosure on the inside of the wall. The mobile home is located in Burgin, Kentucky, in southeast Mercer County. The Mercer County Sheriff's Office is investigating and has taken the "canister" as evidence, but the Federal Aviation Administration already concluded their investigation and reports that it did not come from a plane. The nearest railway, Norfolk Southern, has also investigated and reported that it did not come from any of their trains. The Army National Guard has it's nearest post in Richmond, KY - 26 miles as the crow flies - and Fort Campbell is located 195 miles away. Both the National Guard and Army base command at Fort Campbell have denied any involvement as well.

I saw that earlier today, I'm curious as to what it is.

I'm with BGC. This is a picture of a BMW airbag cylinder. If someone was dumb enough to throw one into a fire, I think it would turn into a pretty nasty projectile.

But what if you slid it down a length of pipe and found a way to puncture the bottom of the cylinder. I'm thinking someone was trying to duplicate this...

By any chance, did it have a peanut in it?

I gotta ask, are you missing an airbag with a peanut inside it?

Maybe, you never know.

I'm fairly certain somebody did something stupid, and is lucky they didn't hurt themselves or someone else.

Yeah, it probably started with those famous words "here, watch this...".

Actually, it was probably "dude, here, hold my beer and watch this...".

Kudos to Bluegrass Prep members. Here we have the sheriffs department investigating and all these agencies denying blame while BGP members seemed to have solve the mystery of what the object was in no time. This must be the same sheriff's department that investigated the disappearance of Earl.
