BGP QOTD: Mount Rushmore of 2010s Kentucky High School Athletes?

Featured Replies

Just over two more months left of the "twenty-teens". So Mount Rushmore...that means you've gotta pick just four.

Who are they?

Is this based strictly on what they did while in high school or does their entire career factor into it.

High school careers.

Make it a little simpler...you can do a boy's Mount Rushmore and a girl's Mount Rushmore.

Or pick an individual sport and come up with one.

For football how about Elijah Sindelar, Damien Harris, and Jake Johnson. I'll let somebody else come up with a 4th.

Maybe Dominique Hawkins for basketball.

Emma Talley - Caldwell County (Golf)

Damien Harris - Madison Southern (Football)

Elijah Sindelar - Caldwell County (Football)

J.T. Riddle - Western Hills (Baseball)

I think you have to find a spot for Montana Fouts.

I’m finding a spot for The Jake. If there are four better athletes, maybe you put those four faces and call it Mt. Ohmer.

Seems like an award such as this should give weight to multi-sport athletes. Great at one sport + pretty good at another > great at one sport.

1. Elijah Sindelar- Caldwell County(football)

2. Camron Justice- Knott Central(basketball)

3. Rondale Moore- Trinity(football)

4. Anthony Hickey- Christian County(basketball)

Also for anyone that didn’t get to see him play basketball Elijah Sindelar was a stud before he quit to focus on football. I believe he could’ve been a high major recruit in basketball had he kept playing.
