Knox Central Visitors Seating

Featured Replies

I will be making my first trip to Knox Central this Friday for the game against Lincoln County. It looks like there are no visitors’ bleachers. Where do the visitors sit?

Knox Central played several playoff games at Union College last year. I know that was mostly due to weather and field conditions but have they played any games at Union this year?

When we played there years ago, visitors sat on the west end of the bleachers.

Last time I was there you sat on the home side. Before there was a small set on visitors’ side.

Several fans brought chairs and sat on the track.

Plenty of seats and parking, most visitors sit on the far side of the bleachers.

If you are big enough you can set anywhere you like. Just joking of course. I was down a few years ago and set with a group of our fans. Hometown crowd was very nice.

Thank you all.

Of the 20 schools I thought of in N. Ky., only 4 have seats on both sides of their stadium.

Very few in the southern part of the state don't have them on both sides.

Yes it is a rarity around here to see one sided bleachers. Of course most of the stadiums were built after consolidation when new county schools were built outside of town with plenty of land.
