I'd almost guarantee it's not a hip hop artist. :lol2:

Could Jay-Z move that many tickets without his wife on the bill?

In Kentucky? Probably not...

Lexington, Louisville, Cincinnati is a large enough area that he could. He'd still have other opening acts.

I don't think it's him, I just know he has a huge contract with Live Nation.

I will tell you what would be a huge downer (for me), it it is a metal lineup with Five Finger Death Punch as the headliner.

I'm guessing Garth Brooks.

That would sell the tickets.

Toby Keith and Stoops are buddies, maybe it's him.

Toby Keith drew about 5,000 to the BB&T arena last month. I don't think he can sell anywhere close to that many.

...but is Toby Keith currently doing a three-year, 30-stop tour of football stadiums that only has 9 completed stops, and just 1 upcoming date announced? :bunny:

Garth had a two-night stop in Saskatchewan on Aug 9 & 10, but doesn't have anything on the books until a Knoxville show at UT's Neyland Stadium on November 16th. I'm guessing Garth is the winner.

If Garth is the winner, I'm finding a way to vend beer at it. His five concerts over two weekends at USBank in Cincy a few years ago was killer.

MJ taking advantage of country music fans with drinking issues. Nice!!! :D

I'll go with Garth has my official guess.

Chris Stapleton, Willie Nelson, and Sheryl Crow.

Proceeds partly going to music education in Kentucky.

100% of proceeds going to local charities, that's awesome.

Chris Stapleton, Willie Nelson, and Sheryl Crow.

Chris Stapleton admittedly doesn't do a whole lot for me, and Sheryl Crow doesn't interest me in the least. But Willie....man....he's on my bucket list.

From Chris Stapleton's website:

“A Concert for Kentucky”—a special performance hosted by Chris Stapleton and benefitting his newly created Outlaw State of Kind Hometown Fund—will be held at the University of Kentucky’s Kroger Field in Lexington, KY on April 25, 2020.

The performance is the first concert ever held at UK’s Kroger Field and will feature very special guests Willie Nelson and Family, Sheryl Crow and Yola.

100% of the concert’s net proceeds will go toward Chris and Morgane Stapleton’s Outlaw State of Kind Hometown Fund. Established in partnership with the Blue Grass Community Foundation, the fund will specifically support local and national organizations directly impacting Kentucky, with initial grant distributions focusing on music and arts education.

Presented by Live Nation, the concert will go on-sale next Friday, October 11 at 10:00am local time. Stapleton Fan Club pre-sales will begin Tuesday, October 8 at 10:00am local time. For more information visit Chris Stapleton Fan Club.
