Owensboro Catholic 48 Todd County Central 24

Featured Replies

This one was close early but could have been way worse. Todd scored last TD very late but Catholic dropped atleast 6-7 wide open touchdowns. Catholic cant afford to that against better competition.

Thanks for that recap. I was curious how Todd would match up against Owensboro Catholic and it looks like that acquitted themselves fairly well. The gap is still wide but its nice to see improvements at Todd.

They were a good 2A Football team. Very physical RB and nice mix of athletes and size.

On the broadcast it sounded like sloppy game, lots of penalties and Ocath dropped passes. Hartz still had 5 or 6 total touchdowns and defense stiffened on some big 4th down stops.

Todd is improved but not on the level of OCath. They have struggled to stop the pass all season. Hartz is the real deal. These teams will play again in the second round of the playoffs at Steele Stadium.

I’m surprised OC gave up 24. I was wrong on my blowout prediction.
