RC on the Cardinals??

You have to be kidding ????

Did Scott County lose quite a few football kids to Great Crossing? That’s just such an unusual score for the Cardinals.

FD made a great goal line stand (the Scott County players ran into each other on 4th down) that would have made it 13 to 7 or 13 to 6.

 

FD looked much better but if the Cards get that score this game probably ends up something like 27 to 13 and nobody would give it a second thought.

 

My point is, it could have been much closer and it is not as bad as it seems in my opinion.

My son and I went and saw the first half. FD is as good as the score. That goal line stand was something. SC got a receiver past the safety on play action and caught a pass and took it down to the one. FD shut down the first three plays. Fourth down play was just bad.

FD is quick, fast and strong. Their running game is very good. The QB is athletic and a competitor. Can’t say he is a very good passer from what I saw but he gets the ball out there to very good receivers.

Defense is very good. Well deserving of the #1 ranking.

What’s the word on Scott County this year? Do they have any star players that stand out like they have in the past?
