September 5, 20197 yr I’m wondering who from UC tries to block The Predator, he’s gonna draw so much attention that the other 4/5 star kids are gonna go 1 one 1 with the UC line. I also think the UC secondary is gonna be enrolled in the Brian Hartline school of ridiculous route running. We will see how good the UC DB’s are. I also think Day has a few tricks up sleeve with the TE’s. My question is how does JK play? He’s taken a lot of heat this week for a lackluster performance last week. I think Fields will help him out with the zone read. Is it Saturday yet? I don't understand the confidence and arrogance...OSU is an obvious favorite and as a top 5 team playing at home, against an unranked team, they should win. I think it would take a perfect game by UC on both sides of the ball to pull the upset. But....Fickell has recruited, developed, and built enough talent and depth to compete and make this a game. While this would be a lot more fun to debate with Wiggins, Doaks, McClelland, and Hudson all available Saturday for UC, I'm confident they won't be over matched on either side of the ball. The thing that disappoints me the most is that as long as Fickell is the head coach, this will likely be the last time we see these two play for a while.

I don’t think OSU people are being arrogant and you said it yourself OSU should win, I think we share your same confidence. I’m just excited for the game because yes, they won’t play again in the next decade. We didn’t go to your campus and tag it with OSU tape like you did ours lol. Not you personally of course, your barstool fans. You seem to know the UC team inside and out, do you care to answer the original question about blocking schemes vs. The Predator? Also, any feedback on the UC DB’s?

Also, any feedback on the UC DB’s? The barstool guys were just having fun and made a joke out of the arrogance that OSU has when it comes to "THE." They admitted such in the video and OSU fans still got butt hurt. Not as big of a deal as some made it out to be and no different than OSU fans putting an X on every M. As far as the game, I trust Fick will have a successful game plan on both sides of the ball. I personally think he utilizes tight end sets to help with blocking and we see Will Huber and Leonard Taylor a lot since they want to control time of possession and run the ball to keep Fields off the field. Also think the tight end will be utilized a lot in the passing game with Deguara and Whyle. Interested to see if Blue makes an appearance too. Defensively, UC's back 7 is their strength. Losing a freak like Wiggins hurts, but Ja'Von Hicks played well in his debut. I don't think we will see much man coverage but Coby Bryant and Derrick Forrest are two dudes that aren't going to be intimidated by any OSU receiver. UC's d line isn't O-State but they are good enough to get pressure on Fields and keep him from getting comfortable in the pocket. Have to contain though and not let him beat them with his running and athleticism. I see this being a lot like the Michigan game a few years ago.... Close for three qtrs then OSU adding a few 4th qtr scores to make the game look not as close as it really was. I do think UC covers the spread.

Hartline to me is the best WR coach in college football, so that will be an awesome matchup. I do think the game is close going into halftime. Are you keeping up with or involved in trying to get Graeters to switch the Buckeye themed ice cream lol? I guess it’s not arrogance, you guys just know how to punch up.

UC's back 7 will no doubt have their hands full with the talent OSU has at receiver, but they have some dudes back there who will be playing on Sundays at some point over the next few years, so it should be fun to watch. I haven't been involved, but just started following and reading all the nonsense this morning when I saw UC twitter football account's "Good Morning to everyone except @ graeters " tweet. :lol2: Twitter I could personally care less because I'm not a fan of Graeter's to begin with but whoever handles Graeter's social media and came up with that original tweet should be questioned regarding where their head was when they typed and hit send... A Cincinnati LLC and you are marketing the Columbus school...the same week they are getting ready to play?? Rhinegeist just did a collaboration with Kevin Youkilis and Loma Brewing in Cali and came up with a "Oso Gato" (Bearcat in spanish) beer that debuted Thurs night to kick off football season. Those are the types of opportunities Cincinnati companies should be trying to take advantage of.
September 6, 20197 yr Graeters promoting OSU over UC is a brilliant move. People in Cincinnati that love Graeters aren’t going to stop eating it just because they support OSU. But this could definitely entice more Buckeye fans to try Graeters. Also while on the subject, Graeters is super overrated right? Like it’s not anything different than a Baskin Robbins.
September 6, 20197 yr Graeter's has reversed course and will make their Bearcat flavor available in pints in January. In the immortal words of Ron Burgundy, "...that escalated quickly..."

September 7, 20197 yr Author Prayers for McDonald that was a scary scene, some of the best treatment in the country is 100 yards away.
