Why does Bell bring in Lorenzen when he knows anybody in an blue uniform he can not get out.

Lorenzen is the mentally weakest pitcher on the team. When things are going good, he's good. If there is any pressure at all, he falls a part.

He should NEVER come in during the middle of an inning. Let him start an inning and he's decent.

Which is why Bell has done a horrible job this year, analytics can’t tell you that Lorenzen is in a bad stretch so you have to do it from gut feelings, something Bell doesn’t have, maybe never will!!

If I’m going down I’m going down with Castillo needing one more out. Especially at 100 pitches.

Bell just a really bad manager guys, has probably cost us 6-8 games this year with his decisions, no feel for the game!

In Votto's defense...Angel Hernandez is horrible, that last pitch was easily high.

Votto just struck out looking for the third time today on a border line pitch. He sure don't mind striking out. Getting close to 100 for the year.

No defense for that, Hernandez has been that way for years and had already got him twice today. Votto knows him and how he is. Just like a bully taking you lunch money. On Monday, he's takes it, Tuesday he takes it, and Wednesday he walks if to you and you don't thing he will take it. And he takes it again. Votto knows what is going to happen. NO DEFENSE!!!

Bell and the bullpen is just killing this team, your best pitcher at 100 pitches facing Castillanos or somebody in a bad stretch facing him, just pathetic!! When the time comes to make a managing decision we fall short once again!!

Bryant first pitch a three run homer. Lorenzen can't pitch against the Cubs and that is who Bell brings in. How can he keep making these mistakes. He has to know that.

Who should he have brought in?

Guys I'm sorry, I really thought I could get us 3 out of 4 with this start. Feels like I failed getting a split.

Every manager in baseball would take Castillo out in that situation. This goes all the way back to Sparky Anderson and beyond. You don't let your starting pitcher lose a game after pitching that well. Once he is facing the go ahead run late in the game with 100 pitches, you bring someone else in. Managers have done it that way my entire life of watching MLB.

Nobody, left Castillo in to finish the inning.

Cubs pitcher looks ignorant wearing his hat like that.

I will GURANTEE you that you are wrong on that, bet anything you want the guy in the other dugout would’ve left him in plus a bunch more, he had plenty left, anybody could tell that, which is what I mean by managing with a feel for the game!!
