Still waiting to find out which game will fill in the final blank for the Bearcats' 2019 football season. I believe they are intending to schedule the game for September 20th.

9-1 this year is my prediction for the Bearcats. They were amazing last year and laid an 8 turn over game egg against Highlands. I was there and thought they were clearly the better team but not that night. They return a top 25 lineman, the best defensive end in the state of KY, Darion Dearinger, and 2 of the best running backs in KY. They only had one of the last year due to Zach Labhart ‘s injury in their 2nd game. They have them both now and With only losing 2 or 3 starters, I am legitimately nervous about this game. I still feel like Boyle County wins I just wish they were not in our district. With the new playoff rules I don’t want to play them twice. They are very big, Darion Dearinger is almost unblockable, CA Collins is so skilled as a running back with his field vision, and Zach Labhart is one of the best athletes in the state. I believe the Rebels will lean on my man Reese Smith and Lanter will find Bartleson and maybe ever Roller for some shorter throws and we win by a couple.

Have verified that the game on September 20th will be a home game against Henderson County.

Riley Colewick will have big numbers next year. You heard it first from me. One of the toughest kids in the State.

I know that everyone wants to talk about offense. With Boyle Co. you really need to be concerned about their defense if you plan to beat them. They have size, speed, skilled, veteran defenders and toughness. Then you have to stop that potent offense. Don't go to sleep on them because of the Corbin game. There were so many things that they had to overcome in that game which made that loss somewhat misleading. Not trying to take anything away from Corbin.

I hope so! This is his senior year and if he has a big year it will take so much pressure off Reese. I’m so excited about this season. Rebels year!!

Our defense is good of course. Kelley and Roller are legit D1 type prospects. I think having so many seniors puts us on top. Still wish we didn’t have to go through Anderson twice. It’s ok, Franklin Simpson and Johnson Central better be ready.

I thought this thread was about Anderson County?

I feel bad for Henderson County having to make that drive to Lawrenceburg.

This thread needs to stay on track regarding Anderson County. You're welcome to mention competing teams from the schedule as they apply to Anderson County, but straight discussion of Boyle County and their competition and team needs to happen in the Boyle County - 2019 Schedule thread.

That's definitely a pretty good drive. 3 hours, give or take, in each direction. It made me wonder if that's a 2 year home and home contract between Anderson and Henderson, or if that was a 1 year agreement to fill in a scheduling blank. Belfry has made it a habit in recent years out of scheduling NKY & Cincinnati teams, and that's coming up on a 4 hour drive for Belfry, so who knows, maybe they were just looking for a good challenge.
