March 15, 20197 yr Author Does Holy Family compete in a varsity sport? I never heard of the school. I know at least their volleyball program is in the KHSAA. I'm pretty sure that they have an archery team as well, and I think they were intending to have their tennis team in KHSAA competition this year. Not sure whether or not that happened. March 15, 20197 yr Does Holy Family compete in a varsity sport? I never heard of the school. They played varsity basketball from 1938-1986, winning district championships in 1958 and 1980. Three times they were a win away from the Sweet 16, losing to Ashland in the finals in 1971, 1979, and 1980. They recently came back into the KHSAA but have only competed in volleyball per the scoreboard (some KHSAA sports aren't on the scoreboard so it could be more). Volleyball finished 2-23 in 2018, beating Morgan County and Piarist.
