March 7, 20197 yr I saw this yesterday on line and agree...this is so sad...he was a great pitcher and seemed like a real class act...hate this for him and his family as dementia/alzheimers can be as tough on those around the person having it as the person himself.
March 8, 20197 yr Tom Seaver is one of my personal all-time favorite pitchers. I remember as a kid watching him mow down The Big Red Machine era Reds and thinking, man the Reds need him. Then the next season he was there. I really hate it for him and his family...that is such a tough break for someone that seemed like a really good guy.
March 8, 20197 yr Wow, this is so sad. As it is when anyone is stricken with with this disease and unfortunately it has touched our family quite a few times. I hate it.
March 10, 20197 yr So sad. Tom Terrific was one of my all-time favorite pitchers. My Mother suffered from this disease....just awful. Prayers to the Seaver family.
