Scott County 58 Henry Clay 38 (11th Region Championship)

Congratulations to Scott County!

Senior laden team in which many have been four year starters. Their experience and hard play led them to a convincing win over the Blue Devils.

Henry Clay did not play well, but they were one of the top teams in the state, and McPapa....they were better than Frankfort, in my opinion.

Good season, Devils!

Congrats Scott County-thought difference was Moreno in paint from early on in the game!

Combination of Henry Clay not shooting well and physical play allowed by Scott County in the 2nd half, the score finished lopsided. Henry Clay showed all year they were a top 5 team, so congrats to Daniel Brown and the Blue Devils for a great season.

Good luck to Cardinals next week.

Frankfort beat Henry Clay 92-80 in head-to-head competition.

Not taking away from that win in December. Henry Clay played a much better schedule overall and I think had some guys missing that game. Still like Henry Clay as the better team late in the year. Congrats to Frankfort for a record breaking year. The Freshman they have will be tough over next few years.

Losses to PLD and District loss to HC might have been partially part of Hicks longterm plan. Cardinals now have feet on the ground and heads where he wants them going to Rupp. Undefeated in Ky might have been a load unrealistically to carry.
