  1. Powers-that-be want the big names in the Sweet 16. Like a team ranked #1 all season...
  2. Has anyone seen the boxscore for this game? Could you share it on here?
  3. Quite a shame for Tillman. The refs didn't want him to play tonight...
  4. I haven't seen Scott County, but I have seen the Panthers against some of the top teams in the state. They defeated Henry Clay earlier in the season, they gave South Laurel their second of only three losses, they beat Ballard when they were ranked in the Top 15.... They play tenacious defense, they can get up the floor in a hurry on offense, they are lead by four seniors who have played a lot of basketball together (and three have played football together for a long time,,,) and trust each other. I like their chances on Wednesday night!
  5. Welcome to the world of small city, independent school districts. Frankfort Independent does a great job with a small budget!
  6. Just looked at BGP's Top Twenty. #17 Frankfort lost earlier this season to #16 Lexington Christian, but defeated #11 South Laurel, #8 Henry Clay, and now #7 Ballard. Wondering where Frankfort ends up in the upcoming Top 20?
  7. Panthers played great defense. They caused a lot of turnovers which led to Frankfort layups. They also hit some timely three-pointers.
  8. Frankfort defeated #17 Henry Clay 92-80 on December 11th, which started Frankfort on their current 8 game winning streak. Henry Clay lost to Ballard and Butler since losing to Frankfort. Frankfort hasn't played a killer schedule, so far, but why no love for Frankfort?
  9. Juanya Frank led Frankfort with 26 points. He only had one 3-pointer in the first half, but came back with five in the second half.
  10. Panthers win, 79-61. Juanya Frank was leading scorer with 26, including 6 3's.
  11. Frankfort leads 59-39, end of 3rd. Juanya Frank with 4 made 3's in the 3rd.
  12. Frankfort leads Boyle County 19-11, end of first quarter.
  13. Frankfort wins 83-65. Benches emptied in the 4th quarter.
  14. Frankfort leads Franklin County 64-40 heading into the 4th qtr. Great defense by the Panthers.
