Final a little surprised by this one Waggener was playing well.

You won't go wrong too often picking Ballard to win seventh region tournament games. 17 championships and 10 runners-up in 45 appearances, meaning the Bruins are playing in the finals about 2/3 of the time. Waggener, meanwhile, has won three region tournament games in school history.

Not surprised. Ballard is a different animal when it comes tourney time. Wouldn't be surprised to see them represent the 7th at Rupp. They've got a good group of underclassmen too.

Waggener couldn’t overcome the series history. Hard to bet against Ballard that has only lost to Waggener once in history.

Some programs just expect to win postseason games, and Ballard is one of them.

If I'm not mistaken, for the last 7 or so years, either Ballard or Trinity has won the 7th and Ballard has won in the odd numbered years and Trinity in the even. So it looks like the Bruins this year if form holds true.
