I hope Michigan wins by 30 some points and everyone in the top 10 gets beat and Boise State somehow ends up number two in the rankings. Then we would see what everyone is made of and offer them the shot or give a "one loss" team the chance because they play a tougher schedule.
November 17, 200619 yr How about PITT's punt return? I thought it could be one of the most exciting plays of the year, the initial block was devastating. I agree, that play was a highlight film winner if I ever saw one. It was exciting to see it happen in real time. The block 81 threw was awesome!
November 17, 200619 yr Yeah, with UofL dropping to 10 in the BCS, WVU moving up to 8 and Rutgers to 6, the best possible scenario for UofL to get the conference BCS bid would be for a two-loss WVU to beat Rutgers at Morgantown in the season finale. If WVU keeps winning, it seems UofL can't pass them in the BCS. Even if this were to happen, Rutgers would still get the Big East automatic bid if this were their only loss in the BE. With a two-way tie between Louisville and Rutgers, Rutgers gets the bid because the tiebreaker is the result of the head-to-head matchup. Best case scenario for UL is Rutgers loses tomorrow and then WVU beats them in the finale. That would put a two-way tie between UL and WVU and UL would get the bid. If it's a three way tie, I see WVU getting the bid with the highest BCS ranking. Basically, UL fans need to root for Cincy on Saturday.
