Guilani would be an interesting candidate. I think most political observers, or "experts" foresaw his possibly running for office.

Although many Republicans oppose Giuliani because of some of his liberal tendencies, they must remember that sometimes you support the lesser of the evils (philosophically speaking). I would hope that all Republicans and conservatives rally around Giuliani (or McCain). The objective is to win.

 

I heard this argument made on EWTN by a couple of bishops. They argued that a half-filled glass is better than an empty glass. I certainly agree.
