November 13, 200619 yr saying they are no longer welcome in recruiting athletes at their respective schools, for football. This is a little snippet that I have heard. Can anyone add something to this?

November 13, 200619 yr Author I am not positive of the reason, it would seem that could be the case. However, there have been some other incidents. One would be Maurice Grinter. Grinter and company are upset that Petrino was not straight with him about his options at UL in relation to his grades and test scores. Maybe they have jerked some kids around...I will try to find more info.

It would not surprise me if some coaches would freeze out other schools just to see their guy go to another school. However, there is a point where the athletic director needs to get involved and this would be one case where it needs to happen.
