StraightShooter Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 Browns must win out at Denver, home vs Bengals, at Ravens 8-7-1 Ravens beat Bucs at home, lose at Chargers and at home to Browns 8-8 Steelers must lose out to go 7-8-1. That means Bengals must spoil a division rival’s chances on the final Sunday. Steelers host Patriots, at Saints then host Bengals. I think a 8-7-1 tie with Cleveland gives the Steelers a tie breaker over the Browns. Both would be 4-1-1 in division but they tied and Steelers won. How cool would that be? Unlikely but possible.

TheDeuce Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 The Steelers could absolutely lose the last three. But the Browns aren't winning out.
oldgrappler Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 Here's to hoping @TheDeuce is only half right! But stepping back from this thread for a moment... it has been a long time since the possibility of the Browns tying for the AFC North lead with three games remaining in the season could even be contemplated. It is possible. And with Baker Mayfield, Cleveland is becoming Believe-land again. It's going to get real fun to be a Browns fan again in the not-too-distant future.
UK#1fanisback Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 Beowns chances are berrer than the Bengals.
statman Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 Even if the Browns split with the Bengals and Ravens, it will be the first time since the Belichick era where Cleveland had a winning record in division games.

This team has the young pieces to be something good in the very near future. I need to keep my optimism in check sometimes but for the first time in so long, I really believe that the Browns rise to prominence is upon us.
futurecoach Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 Beowns chances are berrer than the Bengals. Actually their chances are very similar.
TheDeuce Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 Actually their chances are very similar. Yeah but that doesn't stir the pot.

Beowns chances are berrer than the Bengals. Technically the Bengals have the same path to winning the division still too. If the Bengals win out, the Ravens lose 2 of their last 3, and Steelers lose out. The Bengals would be in. Now chances of Bengals winning out are slim. However chances of the Ravens and Steelers losing their games is very possible. Would be neat to see the Bengals playing the Steelers with a chance to make the playoffs the last week of the season though lol.
