Just mentioned it in the Middlesboro thread, but the AD at Great Crossing was trying to get Larry French to interview after he announced his resignation at Southwestern. Sounds like he turned it down. Someone told me McPeek has interviewed for the job. He's currently an assistant at Douglass. They've apparently talked with a couple folks from the Georgetown and EKU staffs too.

Great Crossing will be competing on the 5A varsity level in 2019, yes.

The Warhawks will be concluding their coaching search by the end of January, and will introduce their first head football coach sometime after February 1st.

The athletic department confirmed with me yesterday that they're going to have a full 5A varsity schedule.

I know they have a schedule. The question currently will be their numbers. They could end up with very low numbers due to players being able to select which school. Does anyone know if they have signed their contracts with other schools?

The school is hosting a meet and great with their fall sports coaching staff on February 4th at 6:30pm at Elkhorn Crossing School.

 

Coaches will include football, volleyball, dance, boys golf, girls golf, girls soccer, boys soccer, and cross country.
