Since it was going on at the same time as UK, I didn’t see any of the game. But Michigan appears to be playing really, really good football right now. Ohio State is going to have the opportunity to make Jim Harbaugh Michigan’s own version of John Cooper this year. Hopefully Ohio State can crawl their way through these next two games to make that game mean something.

Michigan is playing very good right now.

Can we please put Penn State being nationally ranked to bed now? That is not a good football team.

Michigan looks as good as anyone, outside of Alabama, in the country right now.

Also, can we all finally agree that I was right all along about Penn State being an average football team?

Based on how they are playing right now I would have to put Michigan ahead of ND right now despite the head to head win. Michigan clearly is not the same team as they are week 1. Penn State is not that bad of a team. This win tells me more about Michigan than it does Penn State.

Michigan looks as of now to be the class of the Big 10, but as the man Ric Flair said "To be the Man you have to beat the Man" and until they do that it's still Ohio State.

I always love that people want to dismiss Notre Dames win. Do people not realize Notre Dame is also a completely different team that won pretty easily when it beat Michigan? That game was really never even in doubt and Notre Dame did that without their best qb even playing.

Michigan was one of the best teams in the country to start the season. It just so happened Notre Dame also was one of the best teams in the country. At the end of the day Michigans schedule has been overall against a weak Big 10. With Notre Dame by far being the best team they played this year, and Michigan lost that game when they played another top team. Yet Michigan now gets credit for being better than Notre Dame, since they beat a very over hyped Penn State team?

Because they beat down an average team that OSU squeaked by? Have you considered what that ND/Michigan score might have been if Book was QB?

I respect Michigan and think they have improved. I also think ND is better than they were at the beginning of the year.

I disagree, Penn State is a bad team. No reason they should be ranked.

We disagree on a lot of stuff RTS. It’s all good.

Yes we do and yes it is. It just makes no sense to me for you to think Michigan should be ahead of a team that beat them and is still undefeated.

People have admitted the big 10 is weak. But yet giving credit to Michigan for beating them all. Michigan has played one top team this year and that was Notre Dame and they lost. Which that Notre Dame team they lost to was no where near as good as the current Notre Dame team with Book as the qb.

And it probably won’t ever make sense to you. Doesn’t mean I’m right, but there is very little black and white in college football. The only thing that is black and white is Alabama being substantially better than everyone else. Everything is debatable.

Okay.

Who knows, if they play again they might beat the Irish, or they might night. But no way should they be ranked ahead of the Irish at this point. You and I are on the same page.
