LeBron's First Warning: Don't Test my Patience

Featured Replies

No I meant longer than the interview video. :lol2:

It’s out there somewhere. I haven’t looked for it but I am certain it has been posted to the internet somewhere. Either way folks took a sentence and ran with it. Context be damned.

Get ready for GM LeBron, who will load the team up with bad contracts and then try to bounce.

Magic Johnson does that all on his own and before Magic it was Jim Buss and Mitch Kupchak loading up the bad contracts.

The Lakers aren’t playing awful. They are competing and have been in pretty much every game they have played. They’ll be fine but I didn’t get I’m-losing-my-patience-frustration from LeBron. I think he sees some bad habits that need to be broken but 7 games in that’s to be expected with a brand new team.

Lonzo told the media he wasn’t engaged in his last two games. How are you not engaged after you won the starting spot from Rondo quicker than expected? That’s a Lonzo issue.

Playing with LeBron ain’t for the mentally weak. The mentally weak will be weeded out as the season continues.

Plus, this year is a throwaway year anyways. Lakers ain’t competing for a title this year. That’s next season IF they can add another superstar to the team.

Folks need to chill but its the Lakers so I know they won’t.

I don’t feel bad for him at all. He knew it would be bad. Poor LeBron, always needs more help.

Is that what you got from the answer of one question? That he is saying he needs help and wants sympathy?

I am interested to see if they will be able to land another superstar. Many reports out there of players not wanting to play with LeBron because of what it all entails. Players talk. Kyrie is on record saying how relieved he is to be away from him. I do not see Kawhi wanting that burden. As you said, it is not for the mentally weak. Expectations are high. He kicks the ball out to you, you best make it. If not, the loss is pinned on you. I kid about "he needs more help," but that is generated from LeBron when he goes to the media asking for it. That can't feel good if you are one of his teammates. The good side is he will deliver a winning product.

No, I got that from what he said there and what he has said in the past. LeBron pretty much as the same narrative. He needs more help. I have nothing against him. He is one of the best ever but he always seems to need more help.

I feel like predetermined bias determines what people feel about every LeBron quote.

Predetermined bias... I've got to remember that one. It applies to so much of what is going on in social media.
