LeBron's First Warning: Don't Test my Patience

Featured Replies

We are seven games in, and LeBron is in mid-season from with his subtle jabs. After falling to 2-5, James expressed his frustration after the loss in Minneapolis. The Lakers have been in most games, but they have not been able to close the deal. I think it will come and the Lakers will be ok, but I got a chuckle since we are so short into LABron's stint, and he is getting fed up. But with who? The coach? Kuzma? The Kardashians?

What will be the first piece to fall?

James knew he would be spearheading a building project with an eye firmly on the future when he switched Cleveland for California, but he’s sick of losing with such frequency and has no interest in seeing the early-season trend continue.

“You probably don’t want to be around when my patience runs out,” James added. “I’m serious.”

Many of the mistakes have been a result of the inexperience in the squad, but the Lakers’ youngest members have also shown serious potential and can be expected to improve over the course of the campaign. For James, that progress can’t happen quickly enough.

L.A.’s gloomy record could have looked a whole lot brighter but for some tiny margins. In an overtime loss at home to San Antonio, James missed two key free throws and a potential game-winner. In the Lakers’ home opener, things were in the balance until the [Rondo-Paul fight].

Lakers' LeBron James is already sick of losing, issues stern warning

What did he expect? The Lakers were terrible last year and they’re only better this year because he’s on the team. None of the other additions made LA better.

Get ready for GM LeBron, who will load the team up with bad contracts and then try to bounce.

I don’t feel bad for him at all. He knew it would be bad. Poor LeBron, always needs more help.

Surely he won't have that kind of influence in LA.

Sensational media. The whole video clip should be shown so proper context can be taken.

But by all means carry on with the LeBron bashing. It’s not like anything seen or heard with individual eyes will change pre-determined opinions of him.

The interview. Folks in here are talking about the answer and haven’t even put the question he was asked up here.

Oh okay. I thought there was a longer video than that.

There is somewhere. You think the whole interview was one 21 second question? :lol2: :lol2:

No I meant longer than the interview video. :lol2:

To PP's point, I didn't think what he was saying was all bad. Laker fans should be happy LeBron is frustrated.

On the other hand, LeBron also knows his voice carries more weight than anyone else in the league. When he speaks, people listen. And he is known on more than multiple occasions to take passive aggressive shots at his teammates or management on social media. Front offices get pressured into making decisions based on superstars, which is why I have asked who the first piece will be to go? I say Luke Walton, if it gets to that.

I believe he has that type of influence. But if in two or three seasons the Laker experiment doesn't unfold as he planned, I think LeBron will retire, not bolt.

Wondering when Kyle Korver will be added to the roster?

If the rosters he built in the East weren't good enough, they definitely won't be good enough in the West.
