D line absolutely better with each game. You looked awesome out there tonight. You guys are simply better than any other defense in the state. Keep up the intensity and great things are gonna happen.

Tonight was a decent game by the Eagles. The game started out looking like one team was looking to win and one team thought they had already won. JC came out very sluggish and it was good to see them get there heads on straight and play the way they are capable. The defense once again was dominant as the only score came when BC blocked a punt that put them inside the 5 yd line. Now on to next week when we have that rematch everyone has been looking forward to.

We never get any game experience at punting, and it came back to haunt us tonight (lol).

Ha Ha.....at least you didn't say to say nothing!

True, but I am sure the rest of the BC Fans on here feel the same way I do....Tired of some Negativity and Proud of our Lions. I mean we are actually Proud of ALL of them, and not just acting it, politics or no politics.:thumb:

CONGRATULATIONS to JC and their Fans, they have a awesome team this year and hope they do great in the rest of the Playoffs...Go get ya a Championship!!

Congratulations to Coach Evans and his Lions...They worked hard this year, and put in a lot of time....They had a lot to fix in a short time, and I think they definetly look promising for the Future...!

Best of Luck to all the Seniors for the rest of the Career and Life..!

But this game is over. I want Ashland!! Johnson Central wants Ashland!! I dont like nothing about Ashland. I have competed against Ashland for a long time, and I know they think they are so much better than us. Johnson Central may not have a tradition like Ashland does, but who cares about tradition.

Man, you really know how to hurt a guys feelings. I'm a really nice guy, and you go and talk that way about me.  By the way, how in the world could Ashland think they are so much better? A 35-7 spanking earlier in the year should have sqaushed any such thoughts.

Congrats to Boyd County on making the playoffs, and a hard fought game last night. The Lions showed heart, and showed they have something to build on for next year. Half the teams in the playoffs were eliminated last night (almost, 2 will be today) so if you gave it your best you have nothing to be ashamed of--be proud like the farmer says. Making the playoffs is something to be proud of in itself, JCHS knows what it's like to miss out on them (or just ask a Lawrence or Greenup player this year).

Good luck in your new district next year! We'll miss you.

I wouldnt take it to personal it is just that us( JC fans) have played in Ashland in Many different sports and we would leave after the game feeling cheated. Personally i dont know if we were or we just wanted to beat you so bad we were looking for reasons to complain. I dont know i know if Ashland beats JC this friday i will cheer for them the rest of the way. I hope they dont though:D

Well that comment wasn't for you, but since you want to respond that's cool with me. I've never said i wasn't proud of the boys at all. And I'm glad the bc fans have made you a spokes person for them but as I said, it's a forum it's for opinions, even those no one likes. If y'all can't handle it then don't read what i post. surely there's some way to block em out? I've not looked into that but there's bound to be.

Great win for JC, but the Boyd County fans definately have something to look forward to. Coach Evans has this team going in the right direction. They play hard and hit hard and are aggressive. I think that will translate into many more wins next year.

Congrats to JC on the win and the Boyd players have absolutely nothing to hang their heads over. Seems to me as an outsider that Coach Evans has done a very good job and the future looks bright for the Lions. Good luck and work hard in the off season to improve on the foundation built this season.:thumb:

Nice new avatar, that was an awesome game!

Now to your statement... Paintsville isnt a big place, Johnson County has a smaller population than the city of Ashalnd. When the people from "the big city" come rolling in,they think us country folk will just lay down from them. NOT GONNA HAPPEN!!!!

Great win by JC! To all the Boyd Co. fans...I just want to say thanks for a clean game. All the fans I met tonight were very friendly. I enjoyed meeting you...your welcome to come back next week and sit with the eagle section if you like.

I wouldn't quite refer to Ashland as "the big city" by any means, but I can see your point of stereotyping. Its just a part of life living in or around Kentucky, especially in athletics, however, not all are prejudice.

As far as the Eagles go, I'm really pulling for them to make a very deep run and hopefully even make it to the carpet. :thumb:
