November 4, 200619 yr You guys think you have it bad. Imagine if the ads are ABOUT YOU and they are false. In the Professor's local newspaper, my opponent advertised that I had said I would deny prisoners medical furloughs and cost the county thousands of medical bills and further, that I hide evidence from criminals and deny them their constitutional rights. The first one is clearly false. Are we to take it that the second claim might have some validity? Frances

It involves transferring felonies to the grand jury from district court to circuit court because they are in the wrong court. See. Boring.
November 4, 200619 yr My mailbox collapsed today after the mailman pulled away.... all of the ad material..the funniest was the one with the girl holding the fish and her nose like it stunk...it was an attack ad on Joe Fischer. ONly thing I didnt like inside was the fact that he voted to tax Beer and other alcoholic beverages.... seriously..... I cant stand it when you meet a politician (wont say his name but he is in campbell co) at a festival maybe 4 months ago...you talk to him for a little while and then you see him a couple more times out....and finally I ran into him again at a football game on friday night and he shook my hand and acted like he had never seen my face before in his life. asked for my vote..... uh....how about NO !!!

November 5, 200619 yr No - I want it to continue cause I am having so much fun deleting a message from a certain person running for representive. He, of course, doesn't know that I am deleting all his messages, but it gives me such delight to do so:D
November 6, 200619 yr One thing I noticed this weekend was the number of ads that did not mention whether the candidate was a Republican or a Democrat. And it was candidates on both sides of the aisle.
November 6, 200619 yr I like to watch candidates spend money and them get the snot beat out of them. They buy all of these nice big signs and plaster their faces all over them and still get whipped up on in the election. FUNNY STUFF. I guess they have the money to blow.....wonder where they get the money??? I even hear candidates saying that others are trying to use there money to bully the other candidates around and then the candidate that does the accusing spends 10 times the money of the other candidate. Explain that one to me?? I will be glad when it is over too.
