Rumored coaching jobs that are open or will become open....

wasn't he just hired not too long ago??? Has Central become the Atherton/Shawnee of Bullitt Co? Seems to me that they dont keep coaches around very long dont compete all that well. Or am I mistaken on all these points?

Based on KHSAA site, he has been there 2 years.

Although, when I look at the last 2 years, here is what I found

2006: Record 3-7 Avg Points scored: 17 Avg. Points Allowed:54

2005: Record 2-8 Avg Points scored: 17 Avg. Points Allowed: 32

Avg. Margin of loss for 2006 was 49-3 and for 2005 it was 30-10

In the last 5 years, Bullitt Central's record is 13-38

So I guess I could see where it would be frustrating to coach with that kind of results each year.

But surely they could be competitive in their new district for 07 with Southern & Fern Creek (although add Male in there, and it aint great) but at least they would play in the district tourney and compete for the 2 spot.

Seems like it would be a good place to start for someone to try and build.

Anyone have any ideas as to why this school struggles? Are all the athletes going to North & East?

East has been solid for years, under two coaches (Egan and Settles) and North Bullitt seems to be building a very strong program. I'm not sure why Bullitt Central couldn't build their program in the same manner, but with the new district (always good Male, normally solid Fern Creek, improving Southern), they might be in for a few more tough years.

Come on who do you think calls the shots- there Duffer? Ha

I didn't know you were a part of the Henderson program. What position do you hold? Have you even been to a practice?

Courier Journal reported this morning that Christian Academy (Louisville) Head Coach Dennis Stafford has resigned from both Football and Baseball

This job has already been filled from within. Coach Danny English will be the new Head Coach. Coach Stafford announced he would not return early this season (if not before), and the school went ahead and named his successor. Coach English was on staff this season working with the Freshmen and JV programs.

Yes several? The Henderson folks did not like how he got the job and some of the things he has done- period- winning ball games has never been the issue with either coach Duffy- which ever one is doing what- one is the offense coord- one is the defernse- you decide but don't you think it is strange that a 24 year old with NO prior head coaching experiece got a job like Henderson?

That's because most of the Henderson folks don't know the whole story of how and why he got the job.
