September 19, 20187 yr Last night he collected base hit number 174. That ties Barry Larkin for the most hits by a shortstop in one season for the Cincinnati Reds.
September 19, 20187 yr That surprises me. I would have guessed Larkin had more than one season with more hits than that and that Dave Concepcion may have even exceeded that number. There were many who had doubts about Peraza when the Reds got him in that trade but he is sure putting the doubts to rest this year
September 19, 20187 yr That surprises me. I would have guessed Larkin had more than one season with more hits than that and that Dave Concepcion may have even exceeded that number. Looks like @PP1 may have been given some bad information. From what I'm seeing, Larkin has 185 hits in the 1990 season. Most Concepcion had was 170. Was curious after what VOR said. None of that takes away for how solid Peraza has been.
September 19, 20187 yr Fox Sports Twitter lied to me. Looks like the BGP research staff of MJ is better than the Fox Sports Twitter staff
September 19, 20187 yr Looking at Larkin's numbers really puts Pete's 10 seasons over 200 hits on another level.
