Tilghman starts 2-0 for only the second time since 2003.

Both sides of the ball played well. A little sloppier in the second half and a running clock less than a minute into the 4th.

Tilghman scored 26 total points against the same 2 opponents last season. Much better start this season.

For the second straight week, the Jackson Purchase gets it done vs. the Volunteer State!

PT could really have something this year.

I've thought since the first day of practice this team was special. They've got to get a passing game going to a degree. Guys in the trenches are tough!

We'll find out fairly quick next week just how far we've got to go.

Felt Tilghman would win, but shocked by the margin. Way to go, Tornado! Way to represent KY.

The level of play from PT these first two weeks will only help to build anticipation for the Mayfield game, not that it really needs it on that end of the state. But both teams getting off to great starts (assuming Mayfield finishes off Hopkinsville) might help draw a little more interest from other corners of the state. That rivalry deserves statewide attention.

Nice win! On to the next one.

Way to go Blue Tornados!

Great win!

Does PT finally get another win against Mayfield this year?

Does PT finally get another win against Mayfield this year?

Mayfield is always a tall task. This year is no different. I can tell you it would be nice to end this losing streak. I'm looking forward to next week as are many others.

There's a lot of respect around our program for Mayfield. They have earned it.

No. They're still a ways off

For sure. It’s been sided for a while. When was the last time PT won?

Tilghman last won in 2005. Mayfield has 12 straight wins and leads the all-time series 48-46-10.

I’ll be pulling for PT!

Good win against Liberty.
