Does Tilghman have much size on either line?

Tilghman is pretty big on both sides of the ball. But they are not "just big". Most of these guys have functional strength, which in my opinion overtakes weightroom strength all day. Not to say they aren't good in the weightroom.

Yes good size on both sides. A lot bigger than recent years it appeared to me

Yep. We've had smallish lineman for 5-6 seasons.

Starting O-Line this year:

6'3 260

5'11 230

6'2 275

6'4 224

6'6 290

That would average them out to roughly 6'3 260 per man

I was really thinking we could be better this year, but they surprised me how well they are doing. I knew the pieces were there, but with the turmoil of losing your head coach 2 weeks before season, you had to wonder how they would respond.

The running game is pretty salty, Askew and Crim are big punishing backs , while Ford and "Freeway" Freeman add some serious speed to the attack.

As others mentioned, our passing game still needs a lot of work, but I think it will come around with some reps.

Defensively, they look to be doing pretty well.

I'm not saying they are world beaters yet, but they are definitely ahead of where most thought they would be.

I wish them and Coach Smith continued improvement, and a great season.

That's some beef!

That is something we have lacked for several years. Its hard to win any games if you cant hold your ground in the trenches.

That sounds like great size. Tilghman should be able to control the line of scrimmage in most games.

Notice has officially been taken Tilghman! Great win.

Great Win. Why wasn't the interim head coach interviewed by WPSD? Or did i miss it?
