Final

[h=3]Union City (TN)/Mayfield Updates[/h]

Mayfield trailed in the 4th quarter of this game. I told my son that I was looking out to how they responded when they came out of the tunnel after halftime. They have the player leadership that they have had for the past 7 or 8 years. Glad to see it. This was a very good game. Plenty of things to work on but we have the coaches who can get it done.

Union City to 1-Dimensional to get the W over Mayfield.

2A football in Kentucky must be way ahead of 2A football in Tennessee.

Mark my words:

Matthews limit touches, Stinson challenge = 2A!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the information @Mayfieldsportsfan.

Union City High School - Kade Neely highlights - Hudl

Mayfield made good adjustments at the half. Really shouldn't have given up any points in the second half. A roughing the passer blown call kept the only scoring drive alive for union city on fourth down. And I was proud to see Mayfied take a knee from inside the 10 with 1:45 or so left in the game. Good win against a good opponent.

Congrats Mayfield Cardinals.

Way to Represent Kentucky!

Lots of work to do.
