It’s a drama about the crack cocaine rise in the 80s in LA. Focuses on a young black kid who gets involved.

I watched all of the first season. I've DVR'd season two but probably will hold off a couple more weeks before starting it.

I'm two weeks behind, but so far the 2nd season is off to an excellent start.

Liked S1 a lot. S2 is growing on me. Lots of different stories and ways each of them could go (and cross paths - obviously).

Season 1 was slow, IMO. I'm really starting to get hooked in Season 2.

I like the show but what they are able to say and do (the most recent episode for instance) without drawing criticism on a typical cable TV channel is eye opening. Papa John got got fired for less.

Interesting. Did you watch any of Yellowstone on Paramount Channel? They said and showed a lot, including a scene in a strip club.

I've seen portions of the first episode, then my wife changed the channel, so I'd imagine I missed what you're talking about. Regardless, it's odd that Hollywood can say what they want and it's just deemed at "theatrics," but when someone not in the movie, comedy, or media industry says something off the wall they're fired and ridicululed. Seems like a double standard but what do I know..

I got way behind on this one but finally finished season 2 last week. It was great. I'm really looking forward to the next season. For me this is one of the top 5 shows on tv right now.
