If he keeps pitching well and increasing his stamina and velocity could this be a good thing. He could bolster his value even more coming down the stretch especially if a team has an injury in the next month or so. He could be one of the top waiver deadline SP available.

July 31, 20188 yr Author Gausman might be a steal for the Braves. I read somewhere his ERA outside of AL east games is around 3. He doesn’t have the team control of Archer but Guasman is very talented and still pretty young. The pirates overpaid imo. Any idea what the Braves gave up to get him?

July 31, 20188 yr ...and the Reds still have Billy Hamilton, surprise, surprise! I am just a casual fan, and don't know all of the intricacies of the business side of baseball, BUT what I do know is that the only two Reds I would pay to go see play are Billy Hamilton and Scooter Gennett. Dealing guys who put asses in seats seems like bad business to me. We are several years into this re-build (Sellout) and still in last place, ten games under .500. Personally, I don't think trading Billy or Scooter changes that a lot right now.
