Tornado Warning issues in Jefferson, Oldham and Shelby county at 1:46pm. Effective until 2:01pm.

Rotation was identified near the interchange of I-71/I-265 and headed towards Crestwood.

Weather service is reporting that the strength of the storm has increased since it has moved west of Louisville Metro. Headed towards Taylorsville now with 81mph winds.

It got pretty heavy here in NKY starting around 2:30 or so. Stop lights out on Turkeyfoot near 275, just in time for rush hour.

I was at my school in Crestwood at the time. Very intense.

I read on one of the local meteorologist's social media pages that the NWS will be sending a team to the area along the NE Jefferson County/southern Oldham County line to checkout damage due to a possible tornado.

Marc Weinberg? For some reason people don't like him, but IMO he's the absolutely best in town.
