Not really as bad as the box score might say. One error on HHS was an out. One error on MC was just bad luck on a bad hop.

Horrible call by the first base umpire completely changed the momentum of the game and led to two runs for McCracken Co. Glad it didn't cost the Birds the game or it would have been a real shame. Rom was pretty good (6.1 and 1 earned) but not dominant. However, that was a team that scored 30 runs in their first two games and only put up 1 earned last night.

what you said about last nights game and if not for the era by the outfielder that score could have been 1-0 instead it was 3-0 and they had all they could handle with a school the size of one class at St X.

Probably the same reason he did not call the check swing a strike either. Just not a very good umpire who wanted everyone to notice him and not the kids playing the game.
