That game really hurt UK's chance to host in the NCAA's.

 

UK had very little chance to host prior to that game. They are now squarely "on the bubble" to get into the NCAA Tournament. 13-18 in the SEC. Yes, it is the best conference, but being 5 games under doesn't help.

 

I predict they get in, but just barely. They will be a #3 seed.

True but at 16-15 in conference they could have possibly hosted...that sweep by Vandy really hurt.

I think they will get in based on SOS and good wins but this season has kind of been a disappointment in my opinion

 

Pitching has just been a disaster. Thompson getting hurt, Hjelle coming back to earth a bit, and an atrocious bullpen has made for a rough year.
