I agree with you. Several Ashland fans have said earlier in this thread that Strader would get it. I think if they wanted to give it to him it would have already been done. I think they are seeing who out there they might be able to land and if not then go the local or assistant route. jmo

It could be a "Life changing job" for a coach.

 

I agree. This search has been comparable to a John Michael Montgomery song... Life's a dance you learn as you go.

No he’s not, he’s going to focus on being a father and husband now. He’s officially retired after 30 years.

I would think this coming week we will hear something about potential candidates. I’m sure there are many outstanding coaches interested in this position but I believe Ashland will go with a veteran coach. I just think they will want to know what they are getting before they get it.

I think Swift is out of town this week, don't expect to hear anything.

I’m amazed there has been no movement on this job. The job opened up in late March. I have not even heard of candidates.

 

As far as I know there has been no interviews yet. I’m sure there are many outstanding coaches interested in this position. I think it is time to get a new coach in place and move forward.

Heard today that they are about to interview 3 "great" applicants.
