Blue-White scrimmage

Featured Replies

One thing I really like is how this team fits into what Tubby likes to do. We have a team that I think will be a better rebounding team than last year. We will be much better with Crawford at the 2 and Perry at the 3. We should also be more physical thanks to Holsopple's job with the players and then Meeks, Jasper, and Porter are all fairly physical.

I really think we will surprise a lot of people this season.

I will see if I can find a clip for ya... he is a human slinky. Just a little thin. He might be the next Kenyon Martin.. or the next Jules Camera. We will see how he develops, but he is that mold.

Any luck with the Video? I would also like to see it.

Jared Carter went scoreless in an intra squad scrimmage. Did anyone attend the game? I thought he was supposed to be the most improved player on the team.

Didn't Tubby say the other day that Carter had a possibility of starting this year? I believe I read that in the Lex H-L. What's with a statement like that? His performance in this scrimmage says otherwise.

Are we seriously clamoring for PT for Eric Allen?

C'mon, if he has to play even remotely the minutes that Ravi played then UK is in major trouble.

Moss was clutch as clutch could be in his career for UK.

To say he could do more things than Ravi offensively at this juncture is silly-talk. He may be more athletic, and I have played hoop against a many 3:00 All-Americans.

It is one thing to say he may have some potential and then in turn ridicule another walk-on in Coury?

I think OTS has a handle on the situation.

Don't remember saying anything along the lines of clamoring for playing time for EA. I would like to see him get to dress some as Coury makes what, 12 players? He seems to be able to play with some of these guys, as he showed the other day and I've seen him show he can play with some of these guys in pickup games and very much hold his own. I know its pickup, but you can get a gauge on someone from that. I wouldnt expect EA to get PT on this time, just mop up duty. Something wrong with that? What is he hurting? Didnt you say the same about Coury when we got him, which I agreed with? He is a walk on, what is he going to hurt being on the bench?

I dont think Eric Allen will play much. Never said that he would. If I had to pick between Allen and Moss Id take Moss. I think Moss brings incredible intangibles.

Now, all I am saying is, after playing pickup games with both guys Allen can do more offensively, as far as how he handles the ball, his midrange game, etc. Now thats just an assesment of the 2 of them that I have. NO ONE is saying Allen is a better bball player than Moss, because BellAlum and myself both know there is way more to basketball than just being a talented scorer.

Ask and you shall receive!

At the 40 second mark Morris has a nice dunk.

At the 55 second mark comes Stevensons' rediculous block.. a freshman taking it to an upper classman.. I love it. In my opinion was the talk of the scrimmage.
