We shot 0-11 from the field and 2-10 from the line which is absolutely pathetic

One of the more ugly, inconsistent games I've witnessed in a while.

 

Best suited for the local playgrounds. Officials for the most part could have gone out for a smoke. Let them beat each other up in the paint, and call the isolated relatively immaterial contact.

 

I feel a twinge for the Hounds tonight. Were packed and headed to Richmond back in January, and had the rug pulled out from under them by Robertson County. Made two big runs tonight and pretty much out-quicked, out-athleted the Eagles until the wheels came off in the fourth quarter, blowing a 12 point lead by only scoring a pair of free-throws.

 

Coach Fro and the Eagles must realize that they dodged a major bullet and will be happy to see a familiar foe in the finals on Tuesday. IMO, they haven't played well in either regional contest - vs Mason County or Paris.

 

Good to see Pops, Randy, DD734, and Goldie tonight.

According to Evan Dennison of the Maysville Ledgder,

Paris out rebounded Scott by almost 20, and took 23 more shots.

Paris was blown leads of 19,18,12 in the past 3 Region Tourneys... crazy

Congrats to the Scott Eagles! Great to see another NKY team headed to Rupp whether it’s Campbell or a return trip for Scott. Scott just keeps fighting no matter what the odds or deficit is. “Doesn’t have to be pretty, just effective”. Go Scott!

I thought Coach Brooks waited way to long to call a timeout in the fourth quarter when they could not score. Of course, Paris blew two timeouts in the first half on loose balls.

 

I agree. I was listening on the radio thinking, when's he going to call a timeout to stop the momentum?

I'm just a high school basketball fan in general and was sitting on the front row for the game. I felt bad for the Paris players due to the fact that they had to listen constantly to the coaches on the front row and couldn't understand the head coach on the bench

When was the last time an Ohmer did not score in a game for Scott?

 

This year when he had a 2 game suspension I believe from ejection or something...

That’s three straight region semis tgat Paris blew double digit leads.
