October 27, 200619 yr UC had the same problem with Martavious Adams' parents and OK State. With what OK St is landing, I'd be a little concerned about Lucas... He has already visited UK...and mentioned pretty much that he was underwhelmed and concerned about their team after the top 6 players. I believe OSU has a really good young PG already in the fold.

You really believe if UK got Lucas, they wouldn't run Jasper and Meeks at the 2 and 3 after Crawford and Bradley were gone with Lucas at the one?
October 27, 200619 yr Not sure...didnt they just get a McD's A-A pg, OSu that is. I think Jai woudl fit nicely into the PG plans for UK. He isnt a must based on what they have because Jasper is pretty versatile plus has size and he can probably play the 1,2, or 3 spots. Not a great shooter, but is very good with the ball and on the drive. I am most excited to see jasper play next Thursday night. Wow...hopes exhibition starting next week.

October 27, 200619 yr Probably true... I think what tact that UK is using is the possible opportunity to play with Patterson, and the Morris twins(08 prospects) who played on same teams this summer.

October 27, 200619 yr I know I hope Lucas comes here, especially if he bring Patterson and others here too...But honestly I am surprised he has shown that much interest here. We already have a surplus of guards. We have Bradley, and Crawford who would be here two more years, then behind them we have Jasper and Meeks, and everyone keeps forgetting about Porter who I think is going to end up being a steal for UK out of this class. So with all these guards Lucas could be hard pressed to find playing time early on in his career, and Im sure he would want to play alot. That is why I am really surprised we are one of the top schools on his list, but I am worried about it though because honestly if I was him I probably wouldn't like the situation in front of me that much...I hope I am wrong though, because I would love to have him, and the people like Patterson who he could bring with him....
