A parent sent a mass email out to every active player asking them to send in a letter of support for BW to the administration.

 

Wow, talk about putting pressure on a kid. If he does as told then he either does support his coach or he writes in in fear of potential consequences. The kid that didn’t write a letter might have well just said he didn’t support his coach.

 

The big question is, the reaction of the kids may have changed if the baseball coach comments would have come out first instead of later. Would these kids had participated had they known their coach threw them under the bus to the administration.

I too have peeps that give money to that school district that share my opinions.

Come on, Sweep. You know as well as I do no one is being pressured into doing anything they don’t want to do in this situation. It’s clear there are pro-BW people and anti-BW people in Ft. Thomas and lines have been drawn in the sand. IMO this will not end in BW’s favor and i hate that for him. I’m sure he’ll be fine and bounce back somewhere just fine but for a Highlands lifer I feel bad for him. This is eeerily similar to Chris Pardue’s time as head coach at Boyle County after he took over when Chuck Smith went to UK. Both are back at Boyle County now.

 

As for the baseball coach I’m confused as to his role in all of this. You heard the baseball coach said something to someone about what BW said and then someone told someone else who told someone else who told someone else? Is that correct? You want people to react off of hearsay?

1. Who told you that the baseball coach told the AD that? Are you again posting information from private conversations with absolutely nothing to validate it?

 

2. How would what the baseball coach said affect what the football kids thought?
