Shelby Jones is your new wide receivers coach. Same guy who ran the defense and moved to LBs coach this past year. Now he is receivers coach. So I'm not stopping while I'll ahead JIMMY FROM PIQUA OR SWEEPERBOY or whoever you are. Sounds to me you are DOCTOR JEKYLL AND MR HYDE? anyone else see that? I know it is.

 

Well I guess the guy basically responsible for a defense that gave up what, like 40 points a game over the last two years would be the obvious choice to move to offense. Hopefully convert those points to that side right? Yeah perfect!

It was actually an average of 49pts per game.

Serious question, does anyone know if Highlands coaches attend coaching clinics etc to help broaden their coaching resumes?

 

I know some schools have mandatory requirements of their coaching staffs

I know Weinrich has been spotted at clinics but no assistants from,what I understand. This is from another HC in NKY as well.

You make the statement above, but yet you continue on to say that stories you’ve heard should cause an AD to be concerned. That really says more about your character than mine, if you would personally attack me publically about rumors and stories you’ve heard. That is just as damaging to me as it would be to you if you were....say a contractor, or owned your own construction company. Lets say, I publically reported that I heard while you were in a home doing remodeling work, you stole some expensive items from the homeowner you were working for. But, I would never do something like that for two reasons. 1. I don’t know if the stories are true, even if I believe the old adage, “where there’s smoke there’s fire”. 2. I would not want to hurt your reputation and affect your livelihood. It would be nice if you would consider the impact you could have on someone’s livelihood. Just saying.

This would make sense. Nobody has ever questioned his knowledge of the game.

I would think they would go. I know on the baseball side of it, most of if not all their coaches go to a weekend clinic every year.

I am trying not to sound negative here but as I peruse this list are there any on there that could be a Head Coach at any other school? Scott Turner, Wayne Hall and Nick Behymer are the only 3 that I really know of when I think of coaches who have been with the program during the glory days. Dill is the other one actually.

 

Are these coaches freshman thru varsity? Does each one of these coaches have a responsibility or does Highlands have a lot of hangaround coaches? Is this a normal amount of coaches for programs? It just seems like a lot of coaches to me. I think our team had 5 or 6 coaches.
