Looking for someone to find the video of the play that sent the Whitley County/ Jackson County game to OT. Saw it on Twitter but now can’t find it.

 

Lots of action with only 1 second when the play started.

Does the clock start when the ball hits the rim or the player's hand?

When the ball hits a player/referee or the floor.

So the handslap would have triggered the clock. It's close IMO

When the player tipped the ball out to the wing, the clock should have started.

I remember several years ago, the same thing happened during the Silver Grove/Estill County game over in Berea. Estill was up by 1 or 2....Silver grove had to go the length of the court, a Silver Grove player those the ball to half court on the side, right in front of the scorers table, an Estill County player touches it before it gets to the other Silver Grove player, the clock didn't start until the Silver Grove player caught it then heaved it from just on the other side of the half court stripe in front of their bench. Estill County's coach was none too happy about that to say the least...

Wow, great footage and a great shot but it should not have counted. The clock was started too late.
