That's a valid question. They have played twice and each team has won a game. Fern Creek is Trinity's only loss. However, after the KOB tournament, Fern Creek dropped two games in another tournament, whereas Trinity won their second tournament. That would be the reason that some might still put Trinity ahead of Fern Creek.

Definitely not too high. They are easily a top 3 team in the state, and I have them at number 1. The Bishop Gorman win is probably the best win by any team in the state. They also have 15 point wins over top 20 teams in Lexington Catholic and Lafayette along with a road win at Ballard.

 

Independent of results, they also look like the best team in the state.

PRP is the only team that appears noticeably off to me. #12 seems high. I haven't seen them play, but nothing I've seen from their results indicates they should be that high. What am I missing.

Fern Creek would still be my choice for #1. I’ve never cared about losses to out of state teams.

Fern Creek has wins against PRP, Doss, and CovCath.

Trinity has wins against Pulaski Co., Lexington Christian, and Cooper (who beat CovCath).

 

They are #1 and #2, or #2 and #1, however you want to slice it. Luckily, both will have many chances to state their case over the next 7 weeks.

You can also throw in that Trinity won at home, and Fern Creek won on a neutral site by basically the same margin as another reason to give the edge to Fern Creek.

Coach Goodin doing a masterful job at Louisville Butler. The dude can coach. They might be top 5 at this point. Lexington Catholic and Bryan Station too high. Doss is too low. Where is Lexington Christian? They are clearly top 20.
