My mom makes what is alleged to be great pumpkin pie. I get that, as she makes a great apple, peach, cherry and any other darned pie you can imagine. Cobblers too. She missed her calling as a German Bakery Operator.

 

But I just don't like pumpkin all that much. I steer clear of those seasonal beers too. I'm sure her pumpkin pie is great, if you're into that sorta thing.

Okay, I need to confess something here that I never noticed before, but it isn't good and I need to be publicly admonished: when a dude orders a Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks in front of me, I scrunch my face and judge them. Happened this morning. I of course chuckled about this thread when I did it, but realized I always do that.

Now I will say that I have ordered one before. I never had a sip of it though as I was ordering for whichever girl I was with at the time.
