I agree with charlesw88's post above. Beechwood is playing on a whole different level than 1A and above most teams in the state on any level. Their lines are just so dominating it is tough for anyone to do anything against them. Put some very good skills players behind the offensive line and it leads to games like this. Burch is a poised field general and accurate passer. Davis looks like he is getting better each week and he has explosive speed. Castleman is a do everything guy who makes big plays when he touches the ball on offense and is a playmaker on defense. Sophomore Josh Derry is really coming on both as a RB and LB, and that kid loves to hit people. McKenney is one of the best cover CB's in the state. Beechwood is just playing on a different level. Impressive.

Congratulations to the kids at Campbellsville you had one heck of a season and should be proud of yourselves. Unfortunately they ran into a high powered buzz saw last night. I went into that game last not know what to expect and Beechwood took absolute control and played so hard. Hopefully they keep that intensity up for next Friday at Kroger Field. #WeAreBeechwood
